Sports Legends From the New York Knicks

The Knicks have been having rough seasons lately. People tend to forget that they have their legends, just as the Yankees have theirs. In fact, all of the teams have their own legends, whether they are doing well or not right now. In fact, they had a ceremony at one of the half time games. They felt that everyone needed to be reminded, that even though they are having some difficulties now, they once were ranked one of the best.

It wasn't long ago, that they had an awards ceremony for those who were legends for the New York Knicks. One of them was the great Willis Reed, because he was the leading force in the 1960s. In fact, there is a set of DVDs that has the Knicks past playing history. It includes the best of the best, and it is hosted by Walt "Clyde" Frazier, who just happens to have played for the Knicks.

It is easy to get down on yourself and your team when they aren't doing well. You have to remember that everyone has a slump now and then. No one can ride the high tide forever, you have to crash or fall into the waves once in awhile. It is the way of life, you learn to go with the ups and downs. When you are down, it is the up times that you remember and keep focused on, so that you can do your best even if you do lose.
