Famous Streets in New York

New York City is known for many things. It is known for its wide diversity in cultures, for its famous buildings and its mass population. Of course, there is one thing that brings all these things together, the streets. Without streets, there would be no buildings, and if there were no buildings, there would be no people living there. There are many famous New York streets that are known around the world. Some of them are mentioned below.

52nd Street is one of New York's one-way streets. It is divided into West 52nd Street and East 52nd Street. There are several buildings along this street like "The Daily Show" studios and the Olympic Tower. The tallest building on 52nd Street is 54 stories tall. Another famous street in New York is Avenue of the Americas. Avenue of the Americas is one of New York City's busiest streets. The CBS Headquarters are centered in this avenue. The Rockefeller Center is also located in this street.

Atlantic Avenue is famous in New York. It is one of New York's longest avenues. Also, who could forget about Broadway. Broadway runs all through Manhattan and into the Bronx. The "Great White Way" is a nickname that Broadway has gained since it was described that way in 1902. Broadway contains all sorts of different buildings like apartment buildings, performing arts landmarks and many theatres. There are also many colleges and universities on Broadway like Columbia University and the Manhattan School of Music. These are just some of the most famous streets you will encounter when visiting New York City, but there are many more that you can't miss.
