Rudy Giuliani, 64, is one of the most infamous people to come from New York City. It is believed that his interest in politics started when, following law school, he took a position as a clerk for a United States district judge in New York. Another story claims that his interest started after being recruited to work in the Washington DC Attorney General’s office. However the inspiration came, Rudy Giuliani has made a major mark in U.S. politics and on the hearts of many Americans.
Starting as mayor of New York City during his two terms he took on the mafia and the economy. When Giuliani took office, 1 out of 7 people in New York City were on welfare. He managed to cut that figure in half. In addition, under his mayoral leadership there were 450,000 new jobs available to New York City residents.
Some people’s memory of Rudy Giuliani goes back to his brave and mighty response to the 9/11 attacks on the twin towers. Even at that time he took on the political leaders to allow him an extension of his mayoral term to finish the reconstruction he had begun.
After Rudy Giuliani left office he headed back full time into the business world, forming Giuliani Partners. A division of this firm was Giuliani Security and Safety in which he advised clients on how to protect themselves from terrorism and fraud. The company continued but without Giuliani’s presence during his run for the 2008 U.S. presidency.
All that expected Rudy to sit back and just enjoy life when his run ended did not know him very well. Giuliani Partners, with Rudy’s presence back, formed a partnership with Berman Enterprises. Together they formed Berman Enterprise Opportunity Fund, and is attracting investors. Their goal is to raise over 500 million dollars to buy undervalued properties in prime neighborhoods. Rudy Giuliani has always known and read the times in a way to pursue what is appropriate and profitable.
